That’s what it’s called…
Whether they’ve been forced into it or not…
When they’re done, they love it…
And would never regret it or take it back…
It improves brain power…
Enhances a persons ability to think and understand…
But…
It depends on which type of sacrifice…
Either it’s sacrificing for nothing…
Or sacrificing in hopes of something in return…
It’s the second type of sacrifice the Quran advocates…
In return, we are favoured by Allah…
Once again…
Depends on how we did it…
Did you drive the car?
Or was it constantly pushed from behind?
It’s the incentive that counts…
The dedication…
The inspiration…
The intention…
The Quran isn’t to just put on our tongues…
But in our hearts…
It doesn’t matter if the words aren’t understood…
We have translations, tafseer, and teachers…
Eventually we can study and understand ourselves…
Wheather understood or not the words are being spoken…
The words of Allah…
The real miracle…
Is the fact that even one who doesn’t seem to understand…
Still memorizes with perfection…
If The Quran is not respected…
It will never respect us…
One thing everyone seems o target hufaz on…
Is the fact that they’ve left academics for a certain amount of time…
In that time frame we are speaking the words of Allah…
And if we chose to stay and speak His words…
And abide by them…
And put them in our hearts…
Does that not mean it’s sacrifice?
For the sake of, in the path of Allah (swt)…
So if we’re sincere with our project…
Do you think Allah will abandon His worshipper?
If His book is memorized with the pure intention and put into the hearts of it’s readers…
When that person is finally victorious in his mission…
Allah will shower His mercy and blessings…
Especially to the hafiz…
Because he or she is aware of the Book of Truth and knows its rulings…
Meaning not only are the hufaz a high status in good deeds and rewards…
But also dealth with harshly if they are sinners…
It’s something that goes both ways…
We’re not “higher in status”…
But more aware…
Rewards are more precious…
And punishments are more harsh…
This is the life of a hafiz…
Live it wisely…
Heed the wisdom and the advice of teachers, parents and adults…
Because if we chose to live as a sinner…
Even after being aware…
And holding the Book in our memory…
Then it’s called a waste of time…
A waste of life…
So we should learn to be top of our game…
good, for the good…
our purpose…
why it’s called…
Sacrifice.
